Assignments

After Darwin’s death in 1882, fundraising for a marble statue in his honour was organised. It was placed at the Natural History Museum in London. The Danes made a modest contribution of £40; with the Swedish contribution being almost ten times that amount.

The assignments consist of series of questions, which you can find the answers to by searching Darwinarkivet.dk. They can be used for projects about Charles Darwin, about the history of evolutionary theory, and about the reception of Darwin in Denmark.

The questions are divided into two groups:

1) About Darwin and his theory of evolution

2) About Darwinism in Denmark
